BRYCON’s Arizona Office Selected by Banner Health as Preferred Provider
The new year started off with a bang for BRYCON Construction when it was shortlisted, interviewed and selected as a “preferred provider” for Banner Health. Banner Health is a nonprofit healthcare provider headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. The selection caps five years of continued effort on the part of BRYCON’s Arizona office to expand its healthcare construction opportunities.
The selection of BRYCON opens the door for tenant improvement projects ranging in value from $250,000 to $10 million. Mark Barkenbush, Senior Project Executive with Banner Health, confirmed the award after the BRYCON team interviewed with the healthcare company on Dec. 11. Leading the interview team with the Banner Health Selection Committee was Jim Michaels, the Division Manager for Arizona Operations. He was assisted by Project Managers Kevin Freis, David Smith and Scott Dluzen, and Superintendent Jack Terry. Marketing manager Shirley Jamison created and operated the Power Point presentation.
BRYCON’s New Mexico operation has extensive experience in healthcare construction, having worked on projects for major healthcare providers in the Southwest, including Presbyterian Hospital, Lovelace Health System, University of New Mexico Hospital, Fresenius Medical Care of North America and the Veterans Administration. The selection by Banner Health will help BRYCON expand its committment to healthcare in Arizona.
