BRYCON WINS PRESTIGIOUS EAGLE AWARD FOR HOSPITAL LOBBY RENOVATION
During a banquet on Oct. 21 at the Albuquerque Country Club, BRYCON Construction was presented with a prestigious Eagle Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of New Mexico. The award was in recognition of BRYCON’s work in renovating and expanding the lobby at the CHRISTUS/St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in 2010. The lobby renovation was selected by a panel of four judges over two other healthcare projects—the greenfield construction of the Presbyterian Office Building at the Rust Medical Center on Albuquerque’s West Side and a dental clinic at the University of New Mexico. Project manager Mike McDonald accepted the award on behalf of BRYCON and the hospital. Architect Doug Majewski and interior designer Ronni DiCappo from the Design Group were also on hand to accept accolades for the project. This was the first year that ABC New Mexico has held an Excellence in Construction award recognizing some of the best projects of the year.
