BRYCON SELECTED AS THE DESIGN BUILD CONTRACTOR FOR THE SUB-ZERO EXPANSION IN ARIZONA
Sub-Zero Freezer Co/ Wolf Appliance Company, the leading manufacturer of American-made luxury refrigeration, freezers and wine storage units, has awarded BRYCON Construction the tenant improvement contract for their 440,000 sq. ft. facility in Goodyear, AZ. The Madison, WI-based Sub-Zero manufacturing firm is currently operating from their West Phoenix plant and announced that jobs would be transferred from its Wisconsin plant to Arizona beginning in late 2011.
BRYCON’s Chandler office was chosen by Sub-Zero to provide Design Build services. The acquisition of this manufacturing facility will allow BRYCON the opportunity to provide jobs for our consultants, local subcontracting firms and assist Sub-Zero in making an economic impact in Arizona.
Our partnership approach, “can do” attitude, and value engineering cost savings set BRYCON apart from our competition. In order to deliver this project by mid-2011, our team proposed a fast track schedule, overlapping design phases, and multiple permits for an early start. Our design partners include: Deutsch Architecture Group, Pearson Engineering, Caruso Turley Scott and Atwell Group.
