BRYCON RISES IN “SOUTHWEST CONTRACTOR” LIST OF TOP CONTRACTORS
In 2008, BRYCON Construction rose to the rank of 63 in the annual listing of the top 140 construction companies in a ranking compiled by Southwest Contractor magazine. In the listing, published in the April issue, BRYCON rose 14 positions over the 2007 listing, in which the company ranked as the 77th largest contractor. The magazine has been conducting the ranking for the past 13 years. According to the magazine’s editors, the top 140 companies in the list collectively produced more than $20.3 billioin in general contracting revenue in 2008. The ranking includes firms in Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada.
In spite of tough economic times, BRYCON has shown steady growth in revenues, said BRYCON president Bill Lemon. “We are working to control costs and to target clients in growth industries and that’s why we continue to show steady growth,” he said.
