BRYCON CONSTRUCTION WINS 2010 ETHICS IN BUSINESS AWARD
BRYCON Construction has been awarded the 2010 Ethics in Business Award. The award comes after a five-month selection process by a team of business students from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. The award is sponsored by the Samaritan Counseling Center of Albuquerque, a faith-based counseling organization. The award was created in 2000 to recognize those New Mexico businesses and institutions that abide by a code of high ethical standards and exemplary practices. The intent of the award is to heighten awareness of the role ethics play in the day-to-day practices of successful business organizations.
“Receiving this award is wonderful, especially since we are celebrating our 20th year in business,” said BRYCON president, Bill Lemon.
The company will be presented with the award on April 12 at the Ethics in Business Awards banquet. Approximately 500 people attend this award banquet annually. Proceeds from the event help fund the nonprofit Samaritan Counseling Center programs.
