BRYCON AWARDED CONTRACT FOR RENOVATION OF CONNOR HALL
BRYCON is proud to have been awarded the construction contract to renovate the historic Connor Hall at the New Mexico School for the Deaf. This challenging project involves upgrading a three-story historic building on the campus in Santa Fe. The building, which was built around 1930 and added to in the 1950s, served as a former boys’ dormitory. Doug Langley, the project manager, said the work will involve selected demolition and building a new addition that is designed to meet LEED certification.In addition, BRYCON is installing a new elevator to bring the building into ADA compliance. This is the second project BRYCON has built for the New Mexico School for the Deaf. The company recently completed the construction of a pre-engineered steel building which will serve as a maintenance facility.
